Well we know it is the first day of Winter the rest I guess we will know soon. For sure it is time to get out of that Cold North and head to the Sunny Desert and Play some Polo. We need Horses and Players to enjoy the awesome Grounds and Weather in the Coachella Valley. It is still a little slow in the West as it seems people just do not want to enjoy good weather and Polo like they used to. A lot of this maybe from the Economy but I feel like from stories I am told by many that it is because they think it is not nice here anymore. That my friends is not true yes the level of Polo has shrunk quite a bit, but the facilities are leaps and bounds past the former World of Polo in the Desert, Empire can be seen as probably the prettiest Club in North America and El Dorado has a working Water Truck and it is being used. There is Polo for almost anyone now here in the Desert Eldorado has 12 and 6 and a Coaching league type Polo and Empire has 8 and 4 and a 1 goal league . ED cancelled there 0 for Jan. and Empire dropped 10 for Jan and going With a Canadian Mix that requires a simple Two Some of 4 goals or more and should be a blast and very good Grounds and big crowds and it is a cheap way to experience good Polo as only have to commit to two weeks. We will have two of these in Jan. Ever game will be anew Team as you Draw a new twosome each game and you receive individual points only for your twosome ea. game. We now have 6 Twosomes and looking for two more for first two Weeks .
Feb. and march looking good as dropped to 8 goal and have commitments from some solid Teams Jeff Graham, Rick Paicius , Bolko Kissling , General Lee , IPC and maybe’s from Craig Steinke and Gary Warner and look for Texans to step up for the Big Bucks in March. We would like to see all of you Snow Bound folks head this way and get those Horses out of the Snowy cold nights after all it is the first day of along winter and the shortest day of the year.
