Listo Polo Team performed brilliantly in their first tournament at Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club, winning all their games in bracket play and then playing a very balanced game to handily win the final of the Dean Mullins Classic 8 goal tournament over San Saba/ Film Finance

Kelly Plato, in just his first year in the competitive polo, demonstrated that he is a quick learner by getting his team in the board with a field goal at the start of the first chukker. Listo Polo’s young guns Stirling Giannico and Miguelito Torres added two more field goals, but Dawn Jones countered with two field goal for San Saba/Film Finance to get some offense going for San Saba/Film Finance, then continued the attack with a coast to coast run in the 2nd chukker to tie the game at 3 all. Torres took control back for Listo with two more field goals, and after that Listo maintained at least a two goal lead throughout the game, with each Listo player scoring.
