Aiken, SC – Once again, 302 Polo LLC will be organizing the International Series of Polo in 2009 – the first stop being the tropical island of Jamaica! The goal of the International Series is to bring diversity to local polo. The International Series is a way to bring players from around the world to the area and in return, many of our Aiken players get the chance to go play polo in places such as Jamaica and other destinations world wide.

Team USA/302-Aiken will be headed to the island of Jamaica on February 18, 2009. The team consists of Karen Reese (1), Ben Grecgonza (2), Kegan Walsh (A), and Tom Thayer (2). They will be hosted by Jamaica at Kingston on February 19 and again for a second game at Chukka Blue in Montego Bay on February 22. In return for their gracious hosting of Team USA/302-Aiken, Jamaica will travel to Aiken on May 22-24, 2009 for polo “American (Southern) Style”. For the record the 2008 series is tied at 2-2, Jamaica v. 302 Polo-Aiken/USA, each winning their home stands in 2008.

Team USA/302-Aiken Polo is proud to participate in this exchange with our Jamaican friends once again in 2009 and look forward to the International Series being a huge success!
