The Polo Report
By Steve Crowder

Two TEAMS FROM OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE COUNTRY MEET IN THE FINALS OF THE COLLEGIATE FINALS AT John T. Oxley Center located at  Cornell University.  They will play for the Title of the National Championship.  One team, UVA, comes from the land of Polo Blue Bloods and they know the route to the finals, but do not count John and his band of Westerners out. They fear little other than John’s stare which bothers them seriously. They feel more comfortable on 10-foot waves than John’s glare of what went wrong. He has polo family kids, but they are already way past family ties. The Uretz boys Wiley and Patrick are sons of Mike and Mrs. Uretz. They come from the midwest or east coast originally. I think Mike Uretz may be from Chicago and Claudia from back East, but they are now in California all the way for about a decade or so. David Samaniego also comes from Polo by way of his mom Julia out of Texas and his father Daniel from the Golden State as in San Diego. They have had two big wins as they traveled to the Finals and only University of Virgina stands in the way but they also have been rocking the board with W’s so it should be a showdown tomorrow. I would like to give more details but the USPA Polo is a bit shy on information about the intercollegiate finals.  All they say is go to Facebook … very nice. Hey it’s all about building Polo.

Good luck Westmont and hope you make John Westley smile. He does more for building Polo than anyone else here on the West coast.

Down South you can find out what is going on it is the U.S. OPEN and it is also tomorrow and it will be a war I think. Lechuza is the defending Champs and they will be the favorites, but Lyndon Lea really does not care. He is there to send Zacara to the podium. So lets go to Polo or watch it live or on www.Pololine.tv

see ya
