Wherever they play polo there is action and its summertime and the south has nothing to do but get ready there is a lot of movement in the polo world in the USA and its nothing but good .
Down south like in Florida they play 0 to 26 and thats the way it is . They have Boca Raton limited field size but a very good place to play polo , International Polo Club the top of the heap but nothing under 20 goals and Outback maybe ? As they are on the auction block and could go Palm Beach Polo nobody knows Gulf Stream sold but not and withering with do we or do we not fix it . Orthweins not the name but new and exciting could be and will be a drive but looking at 14 goal polo as its standard Hobe Sound next year and several other satelite prigrams in Palm Beach area well done by Martine Estrada and Chris Bowman so lots of choices and new ones as well also Brad Scherrer has his fields in and he is going to make it happen closer to PB and could be a home run for some . On the west side of Florida you have Sarasota its what it is a great place to play polo and its not for sale . Out west theres some new Opts. where its been El Dorado or not theres La Quinta Polo club making a run there is Los Bandidos and Deer Creek comming to life but the good news is El Dorado like Gulf Stream found out its not sold and are trying to fix IT and they must and are they are spending the $ TO MAKE IT WHAT IT WAS THE BIGGEST POLO CLUB IN THE WORLD AGAIN I know the fields are getting 24 – 7 work from reports and maybe we will see the return of fun in the Sun polo in Jan Feb Mar I may have to eat my words of the graveyard but here is an extra thought to make it better . Its already the cheapest place to play winter polo in the USA why not divide it into 2 clubs like a friend said POLO Lite it would be 4 goal and less all on fields 5 – 6 Empire 1-2-3 and Holden field they pay a flat rate of say 7,500 per player and get total service on all situations . Take 1-2-3-4-7-8 and Int. field for 8 and above and make it vey nice it cost more but you get more 10 grand and your in the fields will be better and the polo will be what your paying for if you give people something for there money you get them its what its all about also I would suggest and have if the fields are as good as we hope they will be make March a real month of Polo no 2 goal no 4 goal its 2 weeks of skins and 2 weeks of Presidents Cup and then the Gov’s Cup 6 goal 4 chukkar make it what it was the best little tournament in the World . I have bicthed about the club for a couple of years as Polo fell and I have no problem pushing it if its fixed my world is polo not anything else .
