At 2 p.m. Duende at 1 and 1 will play Antelope who is facing history with a 0 and 3 record. They have to win to stay in, otherwise they can just be spoilers and they might just do it if they escape the big guns of Duende.

At 4 p.m. Its Grant’s Farm/Klentner Ranch vs. Jimmy Choo. Both teams are undefeated for 24 more hours or less. Jimmy Choo slaughtered Windsor on Wed., but they may get some surprises from the 2 patron team of GF/KR. We’ll see soon as the winner has a front row seat to the semis. Both are 2 and 0. Windsor takes a badly needed day off for polo watching and studying
the game as its played on the West Coast.

Polo is free on Fridays, so come on out!

Sunday is a day for fun in the sun as it starts at . . .

11 a.m. The first game is Windsor Capital 1 and 2 vs. Audi 1 and 1. These teams had some very bad games and a good one for each would definitely make life fresher. Audi has a game on Friday.

1 p.m. its Grants Farm/Klentner vs. Antelope. It will be power vs. speed and it should be fun.

3 p.m. Duende defending champs vs. Jimmy Choo. The records may change, but regardless there will be a supercharge with this one as you have 5 countries involved, so its a mixed bag of speed and youth.

On the sad side, Willie Norton manager of Rancho Jonata, died of cancer. He was well known throughout the area and is a Carpinteria native. Willie ran the big ranch for the last 35 years and was a special person for polo ponies resting at rancho Jonata. For the last 12 years the ranch has been a very popular turnout for people as far away as Florida. He had all the “big boys” horses there in the Valley for rest periods at the Buell-owned property. We know Willy will be checking on Miguel to make sure he is checking those horses. So long Willie.
