It started out in favor of the white team Mansour. They had an easy lead by scoring 4 unanswered goals. After chukker 2 Duende warmed up and the score was 6 to 5 at halftime. Then it was Duende up, but Mansour was not as Julian Daniels (JD) and the Chilie Man (Martin Zegers) got ‘em back. The Snowman (Adam Snow) was in control and in the 6th chukker the game was tied 3 times at 8 to 8 and 9 to 9. Both times Duende came back. Then Duende went up to 10 to 9, but Mansour and the Snowman came right back to tie it up for a third time. A big run by Duende failed about 80 yds. out at the 2nd bell and the game went into overtime. The 7th chukker was busy. Duende shot and missed. The Chile Pepper (Martin Zegers) flew down the field on a running chestnut and was called off in the corner. It was not a good call as the refs. were involved. A lot of time was spent on the penalty, then a run and it goes wide. Mansour is back and JD takes it, but again turned back short of pay dirt and another foul by Duende near goal. Then it was the Speed of Chilie flying (Martin Zegers). He blew by Agustin on Paco’s chestnut, but an overexcited Ben Soleimani jumps in to take the ball and breaks the play up and does the wrong way. A penalty #4 was given and then a miss. Then a knock-in gone wrong, a bad back shot and a desperate, but probably not needed foul, and its a #3 for Duende. The rest is history, leaving Mansour with the bad form of Windsor and Antelope of 1 and 3. Duende climbs the ladder from the cellar and is now at 3 and 2. So Friday continues with the eliminator games as Windsor takes on Grant’s Farm and they will battle to keep someone in. A leader battle at 2 PM with Jimmy Choo, who is already in, vs. Audi on form to make it. The 4 PM is a game of cellar dwellers, but they already have a cup to take home from previous tournaments. Antelope is the winner of Americas Cup and Mansour won the Skene. Sunday will be fun or forever as Friday makes Sunday. I know Ben Soleimani will yell at me for picking on him, but he blew it and I told it. In all honesty the Snowman (Adam Snow) has done some unbelievable things for him. Ben is playing much better and he should be happy. Mansour still has 2 games to play. Duende and Antelope are the only ones with 5 games played and Duende is still close and Antelope isn’t. Come and see them run. San Diego opens Friday as well. See ya.
