Windsor Capital can shut the door on the 16-goal Feb. league with a win today at 2:30 at EDPC (Eldorado Polo Club). They will try to shut the door on Long Beach who has came alive in a hurry. Last Sunday they beat the Jan. Champs Dandy Dan’s Palm Desert. Long Beach has showed strong all month, but until Sunday they seemed unable to cross that final line losing all 4 games by 1 goal. I think at least 3 of the games were lost by 1. The Walker Boys were riding hard in their big victory Sunday and will be on a mission today. So Windsor/GF can not sew up the month.

Down south in Florida it’s the C.V. Whitney Tournament kicking off the 26-goal. San Saba takes on Las Monjitas that first 26-goal Tournament will finish on March 4th. Eldorado finishes this Sunday then closes for a week to let the Seniors take over for a week. It should be a good time.

Next week could become a big day for the USA young Polo players as Mimi Gracida is forming in memory of her Father, THE GEORGE OLIVER CUP.  This is a special tournament for the best young N. American players. It is an attempt so show there are really players in our system who can compete in World Class polo, even though none were selected for the USA World Cup team. This game will be at I.P.C. Saturday March 3rd  so come on by it does have a western flavor.

The teams . . .

It should be fun and a start for U.S. and Canada players to be showcased for once.

See ya there!
