The Polo Report
By Steve Crowder

It was 68 years ago when so many were not here on this earth.  It is a day that Japan attacked the USA in Pearl Harbor. It was the start of a huge effort of the US and Allies to preserve freedom in our world and they did it for the most part.  Some of the victor’s ideas of freedom were different, but here we are again 68 years later in a major recession trying to get back out of a hole we pretty much dug ourselves.  And do it without war. Even though we seem to be in a few of them anyway.  As young Americans are scattered many places protecting and dying for us on the mainland, all we hear from the Press is stories about Tiger and Party Crashers as the main news of today. Lets say a prayer for all of these young Men and Women, who do not have the support many did in 1941.

On to Polo . . .  well Mother Nature is still boss, as it is rain taking the news in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  We are even getting a little in CA. The Argentine Open finalist are just one game away, but it has been a long trip as both La Aguada and La Dolfina will try again today to see who takes on the mighty Ellerstina.  Ellerstina roared back with a big victory yesterday over Pilara to get into the final dance.

Alegria continued to raise eyebrows down south with another huge showing against Chapa 2 who were the first team to beat Ellerstina in the last 13 games.  It was a one goal loss to Chapo, but Alegria finishes the Argentine Open never losing on the Handicap to anyone.  It was quite a showing by the Canadian led team of Fred Mannix # 2. Well Done!!

Now it is time to get ready to play Polo in the USA from Florida to California and the fields are ready. ARE YOU???? Let us know we can connect you.
