The Polo Report by Steve Crowder – After two games of nearly 40 goals a game things tightenend up. It was Chapa Uno out dueling La Aquada by a goal and Ellerstina winning by a few over the qualifiers Coronel Suárez. I was reading today that there are only 3 players under 30 years old on 4 teams and 4 players under 30 in Zone B. Three of the under 30 players are on 1 team and only 1 under 30 player on another team. La Dolfina does not have blood relatives on their team. All others have at least one pair of brothers. It makes you wonder if the youth are staying with polo even in Argentina and is there a new crop on the way? We have many players over 35 and I would guess about 70% of players. I read in the English version of Buenos Aires Herald that El Paraíso’s game was similar to the Pacific Coast Open finals. The game had problems with 2 of the same players, a foul a minute as it said foul, goal, foul, goal. It sounds exciting. They also had 5 yellow cards, so it should make for some quieter games as 2 yellows is a problem down in Argentina.

I do not have all the results in the Go Honey at Eldorado Polo Club. I hear Hyde or Go Clothing got beat in OT and the Falks were beaten by Eric Wright’s team, but not much else to report. Will provide more details this weekend. So have a nice day.
