For the third consecutive year the sport of kings will return to battle fields of Vreeland as the Polo Team Adrenalina hosts Holland’s most exciting and largest polo competition of the Netherlands. Although 2009 is not the best year for the polo sport, with her many serious accidents and mayor cutbacks in polo and sponsor budgets (what is new?); Polo Team Adrenalina aims this years event, again to be the sporting and social highlight of the polo season. Close to heart of Amsterdam world’s top polo players will be returning for a weekend of fun, incredible polo and amazing parties.
Twelve international teams, 48 world’s best players and a troop of more than 200 horses battle for the Silver and Gold Cup. Saturday 29th and Sunday the 30th of August 2009 Poloclub Vreeland (20 minutes from Amsterdam, Utrecht and ‘t Gooi) will be attracting international VIPs and celebrities as their destination event. Polo traditions as ‘treading in’ are combined with a relaxed lounge atmosphere with DJ’s, fabulous cocktails and free-flowing champagne.
Thursday the 27th, Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th the Dutch Polo Masters continues with her unique young formula of the polo traditions combined with a relaxed lounge atmosphere with cool looks, trendy food, DJ’s and a great Players Party!
On Thursday night Adrenalina Polo Team will organize the traditional Amsterdam Canal Boat Tour. Players and their guests will enjoy a wonderful evening on the canals of Amsterdam.
On Saturday evening players will celebrate at the official ‘Players Party’ on the unique and exclusive party ship; the Pure Liner: www.pureliner.nl. Access to the ship is exclusively for players, guests and friends. The Players Party is going to be the happening of Amsterdam and is not be missed!
