Farmers and Merchants Bank Claims First Win of the Season

Joe “Smokin’ Joe” Henderon, Jason Crowder, Henry Walker and David Samaniego dominated Antelope in the Lisle Nixon Memorial Final. Antelope’s young guns Patrick Uretz and Pipe Vercellino led by Santi Trotz and Geoff Palmer defeated FMB on Friday to secure their position in the final, but were unable to pull off a second consecutive victory.

Jason Crowder was awarded MVP.

Jason Crowder led the offensive attack for FMB, scoring 14 of the team’s 15 goals. Antelope gave a valiant effort, striving to answer each goal scored by the opposing team, but were unable to maintain a lead. In a game riddled with fouls, FMB was able to maintain an advantage throughout the match. Jason Crowder was named MVP and his horse “Crunch” was awarded Best Playing Pony.

Grants Farm Manor/Wildcat won the Consolation Final of the Lisle Nixon Memorial 12-11 over Hawk Hill. Gringo Colombres and Ezequiel Zubiaurre put on a show with their ball handling skills, but were unable to overcome the team work exhibited by GFM/Wildcat. Santi Wulff’s excellently placed passes combined with Andy Busch’s defensive effort put them ahead to win the match.
