I read that 99.99 % of the people in the world had never heard of INDIO, CA. or EMPIRE POLO CLUB and most will not remember why they heard or read the name but it is simple. Empire POLO put on the first Coachella Fest 12 years ago and Coachella put Indio as a destination on the globe,  not just a map!  It’s worldwide. It is amazing how a little city in the Desert can be so HOT and not just on the mercury. It is the place to be during the Coachella Fest. I think we should invite all the peace keepers and warmongers and the BS Politicians (and we have several in CA) to this amazing concert . Where else in the World can you bring 30 religions, all species of humans and all walks of life together for 3 days of non-stop, hot, windy, dusty and sometimes cold but always crowded and have no violence? They had 31 arrests last year and over a 1/2 million people from the homeless to billionaires and a few drugs I’m sure.  And of course a lot of bandito’s in between, but they are here in peace. One day of war spending would pay for 2 months of concerts and give everyone time to talk. I would bet that they would leave in peace too, because it is all about communication. Lady Pelosi could sponsor it with 1 month of her G5 trips back and forth to Washington.

Another idea for the politicians … not sure of the numbers, but the idea would be simple … forget taxes yearly. I am sure this idea is not new, but why would it not work?  And it would be equal for all in form. Again … I am not sure of the numbers, but doubt it would be much bigger. Every dollar spent equals 2 cents to the Government no matter what.  How many times that dollar goes thru your hands it cost 2 cents every time. The Government leaders,  all of them,  would get 20 % of this to run the Fed. and the State including the Counties and Cities. It may be 5 cents, not sure where that number is,  but it starts now.  Not their current wages. which are bad,  but the perks are a disaster to the working man. It will be the same for a millionaire, as a gardener, the foreigner or anyone who makes a dollar pays % wise and it will make everyone pay, not spend millions on finding a way not to pay taxes.  I am sure there will be ways to avoid it, but the Politician’s will know if they do not collect they will lose money so they will police it much harder I think. So with music and a flat rate we can cure the World’s problems, at least in America and bring home the soldiers.  We could build some roads, fire some leaders if they do not quit without all their perks and build the USA back into a place to be.

All this because Al Haagen the 3rd decided to have a party in the desert. As well over a 1/2 million people find a city of 35 thousand their home for a weekend and have fun and peace. All that and it is only one weekend … there are 2 more to go (The Big 4 and Stagecoach) but they are not as big,  but it will be crowded none the less.

BEST OF ALL IT IS AT A POLO CLUB. IF WE COULD JUST GET 1 % TO COME BACK FOR POLO WE WOULD BE ROCKIN’.
