Cerdanyola/Scharlau PT defeated Villacampos in a very tight final
From April 8 to 17 the “IV Spring Cup” was played at the Club de Polo Ampurdan. This tournament was the first of the 2016 season in Catalonia, with a wonderful climate, and very exciting games. Players came from
different places: others Spanish clubs (Sotogrande, Barcelona, Viladrau, Cerdanyola), France, Germany, UK.
In a very even tournament from start to end, Cerdanyola/ Scharlau was the first team to achieve the pass to the final, after remaining unbeaten in the qualifying stage.
Villacampos made it to the final with much effort, after beating AMG/AVG for half goal on Saturday 16.
On Sunday 17 in the Final Cerdanyola defeated Villacampos by 2 goals, and the team Club de Polo Ampurdan finally managed to stay with the third place.

During the tournament the spectators and visitors could enjoy a gastronomical and shopping experience at the commercial space “Shopping del Polo”, that included a gastronomical area selling crêps, sushi, local
gastronomy, cupcakes, cocktails, craft beer; and a shopping area with a Jacuzzi exhibition, jewelery, clothes, kids’ activities, complements and decoration items available to be bought. On Saturday 16 afternoon there was also a live-music concert by the band GEORGE.
