DOS PERROS COME IN THIRD IN CHAMBER CUP
After being postponed due to weather, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce Cup resumed with its consolation match at Saratoga Polo. Dos Perros took the day with an 11-7 win over Estrella.
Dos Perros was led by Will Orthwein with 5 goals and Cuko Escapite with 3. Tab Orthwein and Rick Baum also had a goal apiece for the winners. Estrella received all of their offense from Ricky Bostwick (4 goals) and Gene Gass (3).
The final for the Chamber Cup was actually moved out of Saratoga. Due to excessive rain, no matches were played in the Saratoga for the previous week and a half. In order to finish the already rain-delayed tournament, the final was moved downstate and played last Sunday. In that contest, Buckleigh Farm came out the champions, 12-8 over Tackeria.
