World’s Best Polo Players Pour Drinks to Raise Money
for the Polo Training Foundation and the Future of the Sport

WELLINGTON, FL (March 6, 2007) – Martinis, margaritas and smiles were served by some of the world’s best polo players to raise money and awareness for the Polo Training Foundation (PTF) at Bice restaurant in Palm Beach.

Polo superstars Mike Azzaro, Gonzalito Pieres, Nicolas Roldan, Nacho Figueras and Juan Bollini took turns behind the bar, causing quite a commotion among the Bice regulars. Among those in attendance supporting the PTF were polo patrons Elizabeth Iorio, Marc and Melissa Ganzi as well as Lourdes Fanjul, Talbott Moxey and Craig Dickmann, Director of Cartier Palm Beach.

The celebrity bartending event brought athletes, volunteers and fans together kickoff for the PTF’s U.S. Open Grand Gala on Thursday, April 5 at International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington.

“It was nice to see everyone take time out from their busy schedules to bring awareness and raise money for a great cause,” said Patricia Yunghanns, who organized the celebrity bartending event and is Co-Chairman of the gala with her husband, Peter.

Dickmann and Cartier donated a watch and the Fanjul family donated a stay at the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic for the gala’s auction.
The PTF, a not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1967 to teach the game of polo by promoting youth clinics, interscholastic and intercollegiate competition, good sportsmanship and good will through friendly competition. Fundraisers help support the mission to further the future of polo in America.
