HALL OF FAME DINNER– to be held on Friday, February 18th, 2011 the Awards Dinner Dance and Silent Auction is nearly sold out so reserve your seats asap. $200.00 pp, black tie. Cocktails and Silent Auction begin at 6:30 followed by dinner, awards ceremony and dancing. Inductees for 2011 are: Stephen A. Orthwein, Charles Cary Rumsey, Jules Romfh, Merle Jenkins and ponies Tenby and La Fortuna. Don’t miss your opportunity to show your support for the Museum and the Hall of Fame Inductees. SILENT AUCTION- We are trying to finalize the collecting of Silent Auction Items, so please let me know if you have anything you would like to donate – we really need help getting some great things like vacation or dinner packages, jewelry, art, gift baskets, spa certificates, upscale decorator items – and you famous polo players out there – could you offer polo lessons or a signed jersey? The possibilities are endless and we really need your support.
TABLE SPONSORSHIPS- we are again this year featuring “Sponsor Tables” for the hors d’oeuvres for the Grand Reception preceding the Dinner and Awards Ceremony. We have just two sponsorship opportunities left. Each table will bear the signage of its sponsor, be it a polo team, company or names of the sponsoring individuals. Sponsorship is $5,000 and includes one table for 10 for the dinner, the afore-mentioned signage and verbal recognition at the dinner. An entertainment sponsorship is also available for $6,000 with signage in the main tent, verbal recognition throughout the evening by the Band and a table for 10.
WALK OF FAME BRICKS – the next phase of Bricks is due to be installed in the next 2 weeks. Please contact Brenda at the Museum right away to reserve your place in polo history with a brick in the Museum’s Walk of Fame.
