His Son Jesse was MVP and his Patroness Joy Bancroft ‘s 14-year old Young Gun won the Willis Allen Award, which is the Most Improved Player in the Club. His name is Colton and he will very likely make the next U.S. World Cup Team. This years World Cup starts for the USA against Brazil in 1 week down in Argentina. Young Chris Collins will be the speed for the 2011 U.S. world Cup team that starts next week. We wish him and the team the best.  Their coach will be blogging updates as action gets underway at the FIP World Cup, so stay-tuned right here on PoloZONE.com

NACHO IS BACK IN LA! Polo’s # 1 man is back in Los Angeles for a celebrity weekend of Polo in Southern California.  We got washed out in Santa Barbara today with the rain, but all is moving forward for big event @ WILL RODGERS STATE PARK on Sunday.  Nacho also brings with him some of the best players from Brazil, Rico Mansur and Chili Jose Donoso, so it will be a good game.  The crowd will be high-end and all of Hollywood will be there.

Nacho Figueras may well be the most well-known face in Polo in the world.  Without any doubt our biggest Ambassador to the outside world by far. He even knows Oprah and SB missed a chance to get another Royal visit for 2011.  I also saw a video of him teaching Conan to play Polo. Information is available at right here on PoloZONE for this weekends event.   Be there you will not be alone . Thanks Nacho

SOUTHWEST MAKES COACH FUN TO FLY; WHY ?
The cattle car they used to say, it now has more room than any airline coach ticket in the air. They seem to have few issues on who they are. Southwest is the only airline that caters to the customer. The other airlines think you owe them for the honor of being aboard and that includes Delta, U.S. Air and United.  I use small letters because they get worse.

In the last two months I have personally been exposed to such fine service. US Air ..  3 of us flew to Phoneix from Santa Barbara about 400 miles each way it took 18 hours round trip that’s 44 miles a minute. No apologies, no extra food or water, just lost luggage. It is really funny. It was carry on, but they took it at door because they had no room on board.

Delta flew from Santa Barbara to Ft Myers, Fl. Plane was 2 hours late, missed a connection and 86 year old lady was stranded in Miami in a wheelchair and no place to go until 5 pm next day. No one offered a room and they just left her.  United from SB to Syracuse – they took 20 hours to find it, delayed rerouting and detours. Imagine this route to get there. It was to Denver where they were late by 2 hours, Chicago stuck most of night no relief from U.A. go to Philadelphia then SYR. I think it was nice trip? no apologies, no credit, not even a sorry from a very unfriendly and mostly unhappy staff. Southwest flight to Reno late gate switch 1 hour delay, but 10 apologies by Announcement at airport and desk and flight crew a 100 dollar voucher and another sorry to everyone on the plane to use or give away clean airplane.Nice Hostess just as much if not more room than any other 3 unless business or above and no baggage charge and happy people. Not bad at all just a friendly happy trip.
