WELLINGTON, FL (November 9, 2006) – John Walsh, host of the award-winning TV show “America’s Most Wanted”, filmed a segment at International Polo Club Palm Beach for an upcoming program.

The segment will focus on the alleged homicide of well-known Hawaiian polo player John Elwin. Walsh and the show’s producers staged a polo match at the world-renowned International Polo Club as a backdrop for the segment.

The 51-year-old Elwin, who lived in Kauai and had been missing for six months, died in the Philippines, according to published reports in Hawaii. According to the reports, he was killed by a single gunshot wound to the head in a province outside of Manila.
The segment is expected to air in late November. Please check your local listings.
This was the first time a non-sports prime-time network TV show used International Polo Club to film a segment, according to IPC General Manager Michael C. Brown.
“John Walsh is a friend of IPC and polo…anything we can do to help him and his show is an honor,” said Brown.

Walsh, who plays polo at various venues throughout the U.S., is a frequent visitor to International Polo Club during the high-goal season, where the best players compete in the most prestigious tournaments.
