Wherever you are there is Polo somewhere near and if you never see it you will probably never miss it, but if you do you will be back. Tis time of the year is often the best time either on West Coast in Indio, Ca. home of the mighty Coachella Fest and very good Polo Florida on the East Coast the reason Polo is good this time of the year in these places are warm and they have green grass to play on and it makes for a pleasant place to be in the Winter months far from the cold North Winds and the blowing snow . In Ca. you can see the snow high on the Mountains and it is 80 degrees at the Polo field . Want to ski it is fine drive 50 minutes and enjoy it, want to surf about 20 minutes farther and your in the Pacific. Florida does not have the Mountains but it has the Atlantic and it is 30 minutes to the surf.
March madness hits Polo as well in Ca. you have the Skins and the big money at Empire for the Champions. In Fl. a little higher it’s 26 goal time as the CV Whitney just over and now the Gold Cup which is a big one with 12 teams from around the Globe chasing the Trophy. On both coast these are underway now so join the mobs and enjoy a Sunny day outside on a gorgeous green sitting , and watch those Ponies run and hear the thunder.
