The Polo Report

. . . and that is the way it is in Buenos Aires, the capital of Polo, but not always the leader in weather.  Frederick Mannix and his Alegria team are set to upset the Polo world with another big win, but we will have to wait as Mother Nature is in control at the moment.  That is one good reason to look at California Polo as a playing venue.  We have had 10 inches in 3 years so the danger of rain ruining your polo is very slight.  Four of those inches were on Oct.27, 2009 so it was just peachy to play polo on the weekend. If you do bring rain you may get paid to stay. I think they would like it.

Get those horses a walking as this is the place to spend your first winter of the next decade  . . . EL DORADO POLO. Join the big stars like Scott Woods, Tommy Lee Jones, Geoff Palmer and Dan Walker and be among stars every time you play polo. JUST DO IT AND BE HAPPY.

In the polo world Aiken was the final place to be active in US POLO north of Florida where the Villages and Ganzi’s Grand Champion is still in action.  Every one else is waiting for 2010 to hit.  Mike knows what is going on.  Some Polo is still going in Indio where they have a lot of little tournaments that have become real little tournaments due to the economy and not because of the fields which are excellent now.  Guess what?  They never get canceled for rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See ya.
