Adolfo Cambiaso will lead his defending championship La Dolfina polo team into semifinal action in Hurlingham Open competition against El Paraiso on Thursday afternoon in a rain-delayed schedule.

Once again seasonal rains have thrown a crimp into the playing schedule for the 2016 Hurlingham Open. With semifinal games scheduled to be played on Tuesday and Wednesday, heavy rains washed out the games with the Argentine Polo Association rescheduling the matches for Thursday, November 3rd on the AAP grounds in Pilar.

La Dolfina (Adolfo Cambiaso, David Stirling, Pablo MacDonough and Juan Martin Nero) is scheduled to play El Paraiso (Agustin Merlos, Ignacio Toccalino, Ignacio Heguy and Santiago Toccalino) in a 2pm game with Ellerstina (Facundo Pieres, Gonzalo Pieres, Polito Pieres and Nico Pieres) facing Alegría (Guillermo Caset, Hilario Ulloa, Lucas Monteverde and Fred Mannix) at 4pm.

The games that will determine the third place in each league, are due on Friday November 4, also in Pilar:  Washington vs. La Irenita, at 2pm, and La Aguada Las Monjitas vs. Cria Yatay at 4,30pm.

The winners will meet to play for the championship on Sunday, November 6th at the Hurlingham Club.
