Sunday on a perfect day for Polo about 72 degrees with a light breeze to keep it cool Polo was so good . Game 1 was not unexpected as AC and Lucchese came out firing and Farmers and Merchants looked out of it but Dan and Henry F&M Patrons were not done, just warming up and with big stick Lucas Criado actually had the lead for a while but could not hold it as AC just kept on ticking and finished up with Luc. by a couple . Game 2 was a repeat of a week ago the finals of the America Cup as Grants Farm took on Big Bens Mansour at the end of 1 it looked like a long day for Mansour as GF scored 4 and were up by 3 at 4 to 1 at the first bell . But the 2nd was just underway when Mansour scored and came right back to add another and then made it 3 in a row before a foolish play caused a foul and then a double technical let GF back in the chukkar with 7 seconds to go and finished 5 to 4 and it was a long chukkar 7 fouls against GF and 3 against Man. one was huge as I said before as a double technical was added on and a player removal. The 3rd seen Mansour with 3 Players vs the 4 of GF but pressure was on and the boys in black rallied and just would not stop ticking and Eveready was bouncing with the Snowman as they won the 3rd 3 to 1 and went to 1/2 time with a lead of 7 to 6 . The time off must have been bad water for the Bud people as they failed to score again until the 6th as Mansour playing lights out won the fourth 1 to 0 and came back the 5 th and made 2 more to lead by 10 to 6 and the crowd waited for World Tour Player Polito to fire and he did in the 6th as the boys in White came roaring back but as the clocked kept on ticking the Black kept on turning and as time ran out it was not enough and it was Big Bad Ben and the EverReady’s taking home the Sunday Silver . A pretty good game I just never could figure out whether it was GF relaxing or Mansour smoking but there is no doubt parity is in the air as Grants Farm undefeated streak came to a close on a beautiful day in Carpinteria. Friday becomes a big one as all have a loss now and Friday will be a virtual Semis to see who comes for the Big one on Sunday.

See ya there
