The Polo Report
By Steve Crowder

Talk about polo magic!  It is right here in the California Desert, 20 minutes from a major airport, 2 hours from Hollywood or San Diego beaches. Snow sking  or hiking in the mountains. It may not rain the whole time you are here and if it does, it will be history in 24 hours. There will be polo.

We have a world unknown to most for polo. The last time most polo people were here was 2002, and there were no smart phones and very few computers.   There weren’t any shopping centers nearby, not even a Walmart. Well come on out. You may think you are on Rodeo Drive now.

We have everything Florida does except the rain  … at 1/2 the price. So much less driving,  20 Polo fields in 3 square miles, a grandstand for 10 thousand, and huge crowds every Sunday. You can save enough money to fly Netjet if you want every week from NY or Boston.

It is no secret that Florida without John Goodman is going to be a tough ride. Skip it and head West. Come enjoy life in the golden State. This place is IPC but better. We have our own Polo Angle and his name is Al Haagen or just EMPIRE POLO home of Coachella Music Fest,  Desert Trip., Stagecoach, Rhythm, Wine & Brews and POLO.

I think the USPA should jump on this.  We are the future.  They have it all right here and we add Javier Tanoria’s way and we make it “The Place to Play POLO worldwide “.

In the next few days we will show you why, but for now I will show you the place you may soon be: IT IS CALLED  (( THE DESERT POLO )) This is WHY there are 20 of them and no it does not RAIN.

see ya
