Its the King Kong of Polo and his Pink Panthers from Crab Orchard taking on the young guns of Jedi.

Crab Orchard (26) – George Rawlings (0), Matias Magrini (9), Adolfo Cambiaso (10), David Stirling Jr. (7)

Jedi (26) – Torsten Koch (1), Pablo MacDonough (9), Juan Martin Nero (9), Magoo Laprida (7)

The difference may be experience, horses, speed or it maybe youth. It is for sure the game of the day as Jedi has speed in a big way with 4 players under 26 years of age or maybe 24. They do have speed for sure. There are two players close to 10 goals in the form of Pablo MacDonough and Juan Nero. They are two of the deadliest shooters around and Nero takes no prisoners. Magoo Laprida is 7 on the way to the top and young Koch thinks winning is the way the game is played as he has no losses this season and a very good teacher who he is now playing against. This teacher is Adolfo Cambiaso.

Jedi has 1/2 of the needed formula while Crab Orchard on the other hand has experience of at least 4 U.S. Opens maybe more. They also have best player in the World, Adolfo Cambiaso, and Georgo Rawlings who is older, but a very tough Patron. He is proably not really that old compared to Magoo. They have the Spaniard who is setting the Polo World on fire David Sterling, Jr. He is awesome. Then there is the solider called Magrini like Macgiver, but on a horse he makes it happen and he has been here before. That leaves only the horses and its hard to tell who may win this one. Cambiaso has the advantage as he was playing with Jedi for 3 years and is familiar with their strengths.

When I was in Florida a week ago, Crab Orchard had an easier schedule, but have played a lot of polo, so my question is did they get rested up for the Final? Jedi skipped the 1st tournament but they also have some very good older horses. Will they be able to carry the young guns? I think it will be a very good game for the U.S. Open finals and all 8 players deserve to be there. There is a mix here with 1 American , 1 Spaniard , 1 South African and 5 Argentines. I know Jedi beat Crab Orchard last time they played. I do not think they can do it again!
