As the days get longer the sun warmer people leave some with a smile some with a growl but whatever they all will be done with the 2011 high goal Polo in Palm Beach at the INT.POLO.Club . It is just over but it will not end without a bang as there can only be one standing and their are still two and they are AUDI and LECHUZA and they both have won one of the last two tournaments so whoever wins Sunday is the Champion and I have no doubt they know it.
They met about a month ago in the Gold Cup Finals and it was a very interesting game, it was close most of the time but LC defintley controlled the 4 th and 5 th but Audi rallied hard in the 6th and then got a huge break with a mistake late in game like seconds to bell but it was all that was needed and it was the key to the finals in the end and Audi won in overtime. I think they caught GP a little by surprise in that one, Sunday they will not. To me the big story of it all will Marc or Victor have the big day I think they are the key yes they are the Patrons but they are also play-makers and they both play # 1 so who is going to be out of position or go their separate ways because their are few horses in this Polo than can run from 4 to 1 all chukar long so often someone will not have a # 1 if they cover each other unless Marc takes Espain and Victor takes Andrade and I doubt either will win many plays as these are two very strong men at back . The # 2’s could be a big factor Nico will be at 1 a lot I am sure and GP can get him the ball quick that is a problem none has handled yet but Sapo is very talented and playing amazing as well so someone has to get him and that means Andrade will have to be in the mix a lot . The # 3’s well they are different as night and day Juan Nero is super tough and can make it happen but he is looking at someone who never looks like he is involved and yet is always so far ahead of everyone else in anticipation he is there but I am sure Nero knows that as they have won a lot together, and at back well Espain is a super tough and disciplined back but he is no Andrade he is a Master with GP
but if he has to take Sapo he is going to be very busy to me the pluses and minuses. If horses are equal and they will be close I think.
