USPA’s National Youth Tournament Series – Started Today!

Competition began today (April 1-2nd) for the 2013 USPA National Youth Tournament Series (NYTS), hosted by the International Polo Club, Wellington, Florida and coordinated by Amanda Hersey, director of USPA Jr Polo. 28 Jr Polo Players participated in the Zone 4 tournament.

Today’s Division 1 (0-6 goals) winners were Tackeria and Far Niente. They will play in the finals for the Division 1 title tomorrow, Tuesday April 2nd, 4pm at Everglades Field.

Division 2 (-4 to 0 goal) round robin games will continue at 5pm tomorrow, also at Everyglades. Games are 4 chukkers. Trophy ceremony to follow.

    Amanda,

    The idea of such a tournament is fantastic, but can you give us an idea of who the participants are and what their ratings might be?
    The story would mean much more if we knew more than just a few team names.
