The shoreline along the coast of Santa Barbara is what I call “Gold Coast.” This region could become the center of polo in the Northern Hemisphere. If we could just get someone to lead the charge and build it up. All you have to do is come here to fall in love with the Gold Coast near Santa Barbara. We have the fields and the Club. There is not a problem that can not be solved when looking at a plan to build up polo in the Santa Barbara area. Lets start with the weather. There is no where like it second place is made to have funnnnnnnn. In 60 minutes you can be in Hollywood, Las Vegas, hiking in the mountains, visiting San Francisco or touring  wine country.

These are two of the “gems” built by IPC and  me (Steve Crowder)  on the Gold Coast.  When you are here for the Pacific Coast Open, come a little early and have a look at these polo properties.

Sevillano

One is right next door to the Santa Barbara Polo Club.  It is owned by Michael Rothbard and built to be a personal resort for entertaining or Polo. It has stabling for 50 horses,  a fablous field and a great ambiance.  The mansion is 12,000 sq ft. with gardens galore. It is FOR SALE.  Look it up it is called Sevillano or dial in 3215 Foothill Rd in Carpinteria, CA and you can see it all on the Internet.

Zacara Ranch

The other is Zacara Ranch just north of Santa Barbara by road signs actually just West at exit 116. It is awesome and the whole polo part was done by International Polo Connection (Steve Crowder) and the money of a British Patron. It is probably the best field and with little doubt the greatest setting for polo on the planet.  From the royal box to the polo pitch it is easily a “10” in the world today. You do not have to believe me just take a look. If you think this is a sales talk you are right! We love to build great places. All you need is land ,water and money.  We will do it and you will be HAPPY.
