I had to brag a little about my little girl. She is not a star yet, but she is on a new show called the “Path ” out on Hulu. It was quite fun to see someone so close on TV with big stars Aaron Pau, Hugh Daney and Michelle Monaghan. Not that I know any of them, but it must be like the next step up from the 6-goal. I am so proud of her.
Other fantastic news … Mr. Stuart, as in Josey (Joseph Stuart) is now married. That will be very hard on a lot of ladies around polo. Well done Joseph! It all happened in a former house of a big time polo face in California Dempsey Mork and lovely wife Patti built the house back in the 90’s. It’s a small world sometimes.
In polo, on the East Coast the US Open starts this Sat. Out West the sun sets as Coachella takes over. It is the final weekend of polo for the 2016 season. They are playing for a bit of cash this weekend. At El Dorado, it is the newly wed very likely to be in the finals of the Skins with Mr. Sheldon as in Jared. Next door at the fabulous Empire Polo Club, the teams are competing for $50,000 on Sunday afternoon at 2 PM. I will let you know who wins. A little lower purse in the 4-Goal they will compete for the Lions Cup. The desert will swamp Florida this weekend and maybe any weekend. It is March Madness and the crowds will be maddening. So join them on either coast. Polo players maybe short but Polo Crowds are HUGE.
