The Calgary Polo Club is thrilled to again host the Western
Canada Women’s Heart Cup Invitational Polo Tournament from
July 7 to July 10, 2011.
We welcome women of all levels and abilities—last year, the A
flight (0 to 2 Goals) included Sunny Hale (3 Goals) from Florida,
Natascha Baecher (1 Goal) from Argentina , as well as Jessica Bailey
(1 Goal) and Kate Weber (0 Goals) from California. Our B
flight (-2 to –4 Goals) welcomed 0 and –1 goal players from the
Calgary, Black Diamond, Saskatoon and Toronto Polo Clubs.
Our C flight catered to beginner women — for many, it was their
first-ever tournament!
The tentative schedule includes practice games and a bbq event
on Thursday July 7th, tournament games and a Ranch House
event on Friday July 8th, a training day and stampede fun on
Saturday July 9th, and Tournament Finals on Sunday July 10th.
For 2011, we hope to host an even greater contingent of North
American players. We expect women from Grande Prairie, Winnipeg,
Washington, Oregon, California, Florida and beyond! Individual
and team entries are welcome.
A & B Flights are 4 chukkers and $300 per player/$1200 per team
C Flight/Beginner are 2 chukkers and $150 per player/$600 per team
