WE REALLY DO NEED NEW BLOOD IN THE USPA
I would like to ask all contestants as that is what you all are to answer some simple questions , The USPA probably will not print this but here they are .
# 1 What is the USPA doing for Americans ????????
a) they have a pretty good USPA program to start players ? do you agree ?
b) What do they have after they do program? Absolutely nothing !
c) Why they can not get job unless they pay own way and have no protection (((at all)))
1) they can not make enough money to compete with sons and cousins of already employed foreign players . That is so obvious but unseen by Officials.
SOLUTION ENGLAND ALREADY PROVED IT WORKS .
A) All teams have 3 American Players on it or better yet no foreign players under 4 goals
period at all levels .
B) Look into new ideas to cut huge cost of game at most levels . Javier Tanoria has some
great ideas.
1 – 6 chukkar Polo 6 horses for ea. player
2 – eliminate throw Inns u score hit it in goes out team hits out loses ball hit from spot
3 – these ideas make it a team game again everybody gets to play game as he has to
4 – these ideas could cut cost by 40 to 50 % as you need 8 good horses and no matter
how good they are you only get to play 6 it changes the game to way it once was you
play not just block and LEAVE IT.
Negatives of idea heard :
A) Will kill horses ! no you will pass not run and just maybe a Patron will really improve . As it will become a TEAM Game again .
B) Remove 26 goal foreign Polo from our system if some want 26 goal make it a Pvt. League it is anyway at today’s cost .
Just some simple ideas by a simple Person who loves US Polo and will support contestants who do . I like idea of going to Polo in Tulsa , Memphis , Louisville, Santa Barbara and being able to speak English and hit the ball.
IT IS SIMPLE WHY DOES ONE OF THE BIGGEST COUNTRIES PLAYING POLO HAVE 13 PLAYERS 6 GOALS OR MORE AND 1/2 OF THEM OVER 50 ??????? WHY? THE USPA!!
