Geronimo Obergon is a Gator but he was a Cowboy this Summer and he worked as hard as a Man on the field could ever work and it started at 0.1 he knocked in and never stopped runnin sometimes in no chance territory but nobody was sure he would not get there including the opponents. Klentner Ranch was very organized today and controlled most of the game playing hardball polo and not letting a free run to Santa Clara when they did often they got lucky and SC had a wayward shot. All that said they knew KR was coming all day long . KR took the lead at end of 1 by 2-1 and started 2nd scoring and endended it scoring up 4 to 2 . Santa Clara had control in the 3rd as controlled this one and went 3 to 1 to tie it up and went into 1/2 time feeling good and scored early in the 4 th to go up by 1 at either end but and were up by 2 but the Cowboys tied it up in the 5th and never looked back controlling most of the 6th and scoring the one they needed and won by 1 . It was a very good game. There were about 14 fouls in the game and only about 3 goals from penalties . Santi Toc finally ran out of luck in SB but he still played amazing there was no doubt who was the best player on the field but he almost had a man on him all day and that made it a game. Jessie Bray played very strong and MVP Marcos Alberdi was always lighting the fire and this took Santi T out of the mix a lot as he had to get him and that let JB or GO get the ball. Both teams were close on missed opportunities as I think SC missed 9 chances KR missed 12 and 2 were penalties. Well done for both teams and a + for KR and JK was amazing I do not think he fouled all day and made some amazing shots and saves . well done Marcos and team :::
AS Polo comes to the end of August it is not over we still have the Lady’s tournament next week and some of the best in the Country here and 8 goal soon after so.
