Aided by polo playing beauties Pamela Flanagan, Amy Deupi, Kelley Flanagan and Samantha Falbe, Robert Kiger’s Elegante’ Polobrand arrived in Chicago just in time to add some excitement to the ChicagoBeach Polo World Cup’s kick-off party Wednesday night at Chicago’s Fogo de Chao Brazilian steakhouse on North LaSalle Street before an enthusiastic crowd of nearly 150 invited guests.

Garbed in Elegante’ Polo signature polo “whites” and playing jerseys, the attractive foursome circulated among the assemblage of local celebrities, VIPs and city officials.
“Chicago is a great city,” offered Kiger,” and Elegante’ Polo is excited to be part of the inaugural beach polo tournament here.”
Elegante’ Polo is the trophy sponsor for the South Beach Women’s Polo Cup, the distaff side of the Miami Beach Polo World Cup, and has extended that coverage to Chicago.
With the creation of the “North Beach Women’s Polo Cup”, Kiger has shipped the 48” trophy from Florida to Chicago where the flip side of the South Beach Cup will carry the title “North Beach Women’s Polo Cup” and will be awarded to the winning team in the October 1st and October 2nd Chicago beach polo event.
A veteran polo player himself, Kiger created the Elegante’ Polo brand as an upscale clothing line that features some of polo’s most sought after attire, i.e., La Martina, Etiqueta Negra, Vicomte A, Tipa Y Cana and many select designer brands for the elegant evening out.
In addition to sponsoring the cup for Chicago’s women’s beach polo competition this year, Elegante Polo will also be fielding the team of Angela York, Melissa Hornung and Tara Lordi who will be trying to capture their second consecutive beach polo cup (the three recently took top honors in the South Beach tournament in April).
