The Polo Report by Steve Crowder. Many times you hear Polo people say “I have been everywhere.” Unless you have been to the West Coast of Mexico in a place called Costa Careyes. You may have never been anywhere for fun polo, amazing weather and ultimate in beauty. It must be a good place to be as 10 million sea turtles come from there and always come back if they can to start a new family. You do not need to go there to start a new family, but if you are not careful, you may on your first visit. Costa Careyes is very romantic and quiet. Its a delight beyond conversation “you just have to see it to believe it.” The amazing thing is it is closer to LA, Dallas, Portland, and Las Vegas than Florida. It costs about as much to spend the night and fly there as a ticket to Palm Beach and it is so much better. If you are looking for fun, polo, fun people from 15 different countries and all about enjoying the thrill of a speeding horse and a little white ball its polo.

I left LAX at 10.30 A.m. 12.30 arrived at 3.35 p.m. and was having a Margarita at 5:03 in the untested beauty of the Pacfic with the sun setting.

View from the houses at Costa Careyes.

In Costa Careyes they have the most amazing houses which there are many of. All with incredible views of the beach at 75 + degrees + water and this is so close to being in the wild and yet all the comforts of LA, London or NYC.

You have no hassle from vendors, Taxis or traffic. As I am writing this story I am sitting in a magnificent open room 200 feet above the blue waters of the Pacific after an awesome Thanksgiving Day dinner. I have been in many places where polo is fun, but this place is designed for fun and family.

The polo is very real, but the sidelines are exotic with unbelievable beaches, houses atmosphere and even the surroundings. No smog or no fog, just pure sunshine and an occasional ship passing by. On the horizon it will be unblemished maybe forever as iit is a conversation and wildlife refuge with turtles, eagles, jaguars they say and untouched land abundant for whatever. Its beauty beyond your imagination so come down and see it.
