Jofie (Joseph Stuart) was in the right place at the right time as Catamount’s Patron, Scott Devon, was injured and Jofie was picked to replace him and they did well. This is a step up from the 16-goal last year as its 26-goal and there are no prisioners in this polo. Its rock and roll. From the reports I heard he did awesome as he was on unknown horses, good ones I am sure, but like brand new, a higher level of polo and an unfamiliar team. Jofie did know Adam Snow who he played with a couple of years ago, so that helped. Well done Joseph!!

The seniors kicks off Friday here in Indio and its a biggie with 9 teams of Snowcaps including Shamu, who has no hair above his whiskers noticeable. There are some real wild men and women here, however, and they come from everwhere. You have Bullet Bob from Minnesota, Peter Milner from the Irish Coast, Glen Hart and Tom Turner who hails from Oregon, Rico Richard Varge from the Land of Virginia, Jack Boot and a couple of other bandits like Gratia Brown and Susan Stovall from Washington. We also have Rocket Ron Stengler from the mule State of Missouri where he has built an awesome polo field, but rumor is no mules allowed. From Coors country up in the Rockies you have Tom Strung and Bob Gray from Denver and from the land of Mafia men we have Al and they sent Mike Ward too. Out of British Columbia its Kelly Armstrong and Alberta sends Cameron Diggon and Derrek Wolstenholm. From the great state of Arizona you have Paul Harris, Bill Stalcup and the famous Shamu (Richard Schallamo) and the man who won’t serve mint sauce at the Tack Room Tavern, John Aspara. From just down the Pacfic like the Phillipines comes Tony Garcia and out of the land of fast women and pretty horses comes George Conkwright. It you just add the Cowboy state with Paul Von Gontard and a whole passel of Prune Land men like thats California comes the balance of the Seniors. So be here. They maybe gray, but they will play. See ya.
