The Polo Report
By Steve Crowder

Grant’s Farm carries an undefeated record into the finals, but this does not mean much to the Rugmen. They just swept it under the carpet and came flying back on Friday to slide by Lucchese and are here today.

It is a interesting match up today as you have 2 of the strongest players at the # 2 position on both teams: Hilario and Polito.  They are the energy and the speed and they will need it. I think the winner will actually be the team with the most effective back door and both have had very strong outings so far. Andy Busch has the edge on experience and has been here before. He knows the drill and he knows Jeff well.   It will make the two of them have to deal with Hilario on the front end of Mansour. Santi Von Wernich is looking very much like Brother Fredrico.  He was outstanding on Friday with some huge plays. Santi is un-rookie like as he seemed very confident and not concerned about the stage at all. This could be because of the experience and leadership of the Snowman in the Quarterback spot. Whatever it was,  it worked well and they will need to be as good or better to do it again today. Superstar Adolfo Cambiaso may play in the  3 o’clock game today as he is in town. The Sun is out and the weather is great!  Party town is dark for a couple of weeks so come on up.
