Summer Season 2012
It’s time for another summer of polo in the greater Saratoga, NY area at Surya Polo Club located in scenic Washington County! Our polo season starts June 9th with our first game of the season at 5:30PM. We hope to see you and your friends at a game!
Our 2012 season is from June 9th through Aug 4. Polo games every Saturday at 5:30PM. Gates open at 4:30PM. General admission is $5, kids under 12 enter for free! Pavilion seating is $10 and may be reserved for special events.
Wanna Relax? Enjoy live music performances by Nathan Knowles pre-game from 4:30PM to 5:30PM.
Feeling patriotic? Live rendition of the Star Spangled Banner by local artist Brittany Henderson.
Hungry? Dot’s Diggity Dogs will be serving Hot Dogs and Refreshments at games this summer.
Highlighted events for our 2012 season:
June 9- Opening day Pavilion seating offered to all on a first come basis at the cost of general admission.
June 16- Fundraiser for Salem Art Works “Line of the (ball) draw” drawing contest. For a $5 donation create a drawing to enter into the contest. The works will be photographed and posted on an album in Facebook. The drawing with the most “Likes” will win a SAW shirt.
June 30-Cruiser’s cup Drive in to the game in a pre-1980’s car and your admission is free.
July 7-Hubbard Hall Dancer’s Cup Half time Bollywood and folk dance performance by Hubbard Hall program director Gina Diebel’s dance troop. A second opportunity to enjoy this smashing performance for those that missed it at last year’s polo games.
July 14- Greenwich and Salem Chamber Mixer Food prepared by Spoonful Catering and Kitchen Menu: Wonderful Hors d ‘oeuvres made from “Locally Grown Foods” Refreshing non – alcoholic beverages and you may “Bring Your Own Beverage”.
Aug 4- Fundraiser for Agricultural Stewardship Association (ASA) Charity event to benefit the ASA whose goal is to preserve farmland for future generations.
