As I said before, Long Beach is a lot better than their record when they went and won on Sunday. Now they did it again as they took Windsor/GF down town for a royal a _ _ beating and did it in style I guess. I was not there, but all reports are it was 6 and 0 or so and at halftime 8 to 1. The undefeated WC/GF squad was whining hard but stormed back to barley lose as they had a chance to tie it up as the clock said goodbye in the 6th. It was a + for Long Beach and the first minus of the month for WC/GF, who had 6 wins in a row. I guess they needed their coach even though Andy Busch would never admit it. The door did not close.
In another big game it was a big surprise for Hanalei Bay as Dandy Dan and Palm Desert put a whipping on the surfer boys in a mild upset. Its still a party at EDPC and there are a lot of teams in the bronze round, so there will be some action all weekend long. There’s a party at the Cantina and the tavern on Friday night, so be there. Come on out and see the ponies run. They will be blazing down Sunday lane.
