SANTA BARBARA IS CELEBRATING THE SECOND ANNUAL W.C.T. Qualifer and it all starts tomorrow at 10 am. Some of the worlds best female players will be in town for this event. It is all made possible by superman TERRY RYKEN OF SOTHEBY’S, the headline sponsor of it all. Lady polo players including Kristy Waters Caroline Stimmel from Texas and from Argentina the Lovely Anita Wolf and from Hawaii the muscle of Daniele Travis and the finesse of Cecilla Cochran. From the Gold Coast it is Kate Weber and Paige Beard (the Lady who makes it all happen no matter WHAT). The best female polo Player in the world and the Founder of WCT Ms. Sunny Hale. Sunny has been a winner of U.S. Open and many other noteworthy tournaments. So buckle your shoes and come on out to see for yourself.

How can you say that it is even better this year when the conflict date change of Prince William coming in July. This has limited the number of teams and is now forcing the tournament format to be played as a round robin. This will be the first time a final game has been played on the main field as a roundrobin. How could this possibily be better. You now have two teams carrying a four goal handicap and one team with a two goal handicap. We can not even get three same rated teams. It maybe a start to getting better womens exposure but things needs to be given more thought to when this tournament is held as to allow more women to be able to come and play to really make this a better tournament. I know you have no control over this and we were replaced by a prince but to say it is even better than last year is a misleading grab at journalism.

I don’t know the answer to this therefore I am asking you a question…could Steve be referring to the caliber of players this year vs last? Again, it’s a question and I don’t know the answer.
Also, another question I have lies within your last sentence, and that is do you really think that he(Steve) has ever “grabbed” at anything or that he says what he thinks and does so when ever he wants?
Again, just a question…but I think I do know the answer to that one.
