It is money time in a couple tournaments and its Gold and Triple Crown Diamonds in others. Down in south Florida at Boca Raton its hard-hitting Casey, and I assume sub for Jeff Blake, playing the Wild Man Mark Ganzi for the money in the INT> Cup for the big bucks. Out in Indio, CA its the Governor Pat Nesbitt and Windsor/Grants Farm with Andy Busch taking on Silent Chris Maloney and the Doctor (Gaston Von Wernich) for Polo’s Skins where every chukker is a game and money. In Sarasota its the Rude Boys and her Sweetness Ms. Cochran versus Miss Cook and Frankie & MGA. They are going for the first diamond of the Triple Crown. South and a little East at IPC in Wellington, FL its the biggest boys playing. They have Super Star Victor Vargas leading his Owls of Lechuza Caracas against what many are saying the best 26-goal team ever in the form of George Rawlings and his Crab Orchard. They do have the best player in the World AC or Adolfo Cambiaso on the team. I think they are going to get a big surprise as Jeff Hall has never lost a finals in the 26 at IPC. He is back, so get ready to say hi to Lechuza Caracas and The Owls as the ’07 of Goldfingers. That is my prediction!

Also here in the desert action at Eldodrado PC for Gov’s Cup we had Smokin’ Joe Henderson and Mini Mac Mannix come from down town and came out to smoke past the Colorado Cowgirl Jenny Luttrell and Cotterel Farms In OT. In a barn Burner and it was Friendly Chevy without the boss (Curt Hughes), but son Lance did the job and they rolled over Double Eagle and Vladimir Rivkin. In other action it was Rapid Robert Kiger needing more speed as the Big Mac and Fish Creek were too much for True Choice/Racho Santa Fe and Zippy Bill Ziering. Maui & Jessie Neuworth were a little lax and undiscplined as they got out played by Big Bill Garlock and his Parklane squad. They head up in the draw. It was Little Joe Anthony and his wanderers of Rancho Amistad doing what RA likes best ,winning over G&L Ranch. In the door closer it was Cam Clark and Cam Clark Ford showing his habit of winning as they blew by Aspen Oaks ‘

In the TACK MART CUP 3-Goal League IT WAS A BIG ONE AS . . .

Aspen Oaks 2 and Betty Pope and her boys and girl hooked up and won. It was Playa Grande doing the same as well, so they head to the Sunday round 2 in very good shape.

At Eldorado we also have the 2-goal on the menu as well this week. I wonder why no one plays the Governor’s Cup anymore?

It was World Gym and Hanalei Bay getting it on with Adeptus and found youth wins as the Uretz Boys won it. It was Captain Peter oudoing Sir Tony of Club Polo de Cabo in a tough one. Mr. Flowers had a Robin perching on him and he could not get her off the Pedal. Flowers Farm went down to OC Polo. I do not know what happenend in the Claybourne /Menlo war as it was behind the riverbank for this shootout. However, bad Polo news is the World goes on. It is finals time around the country and it may rain as there is talk. We will redo the wheel at Eldorado and join the new Century with modern inventions including the Jiffy John and water running on grass and dust , but the Skins will be fun and there will be 3 pros looking to take down the Governor Pat Nesbitt and Andy Busch. They will still have to deal with Fast-tetta (Mariano Fassetta) and the Palomino(Jason Crowder). Andy Busch may be on in ” the stop the ball” mode and its a lock.

See ya Sunday somewhere there is a finals.
