The Big Ladies Tournament at the Villages Polo Club will have a West Coast Lady on it no matter what. Miss Malia McCoy of Oregon, who just thrashed Southern Cal. And Miss Erika Woods of So Cal is also in the finals. One should win as they are on different teams in the finals. Paige Beard and Kate Webber also made the consolation finals. Well done Ladies! Good luck as well.
Around the Polo planet there is a thing called rain making things tough in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was Mother Nature setting the finals back where Ellestrina will go back to their ’07 team as a suspension has set a 10 -oal player down. It will be another McDonough on the team as Juan Martin Nero takes a break. We will see just how good the Pieres’s are.
Houston is just looking for a sunny day and they will play anyway. Aiken, SC has a bit of cool weather, but still moving forward. California is sleeping except for the arena programs. WY, CO and Kansas are all ready for snow polo from the sounds of it. LA has become very quiet both Major league teams are home with losses and So Cal . . . well they are quacking and it is not AFFLAX. Indio is home of the Phish Concert for the weekend at Empire Polo. So it is break time for the Ponies as they rest up for a big one coming up. Eldorado opens with the first of TEN big years in 2010 so get ready to Rock and Roll .
