Kensington, Chukka Blue and St. Ann polo venues and the Jamaican national team were wonderful hosts and provided that special “Island” ambiance only found in Jamaica.  The first game was played on the lush green field at Kensington in Kingston with Team USA gaining the win by 2 goals with a final score of 6 – 4.  The second match was at St. Ann in Ocho Rios  and was a repeat of the first with Team USA walking away with the win for a final score of 7 – 5. Team Jamaica rallied for a 6-5 victory over Team USA at Chukka Blue in Montego Bay.

“All of the games were really good”, Karen Reese, captain of Team USA and special thanks to the hosts for providing the team with great horses.

The weekend was topped off by an après polo soiree at the Sugar Mill Cum Clubhouse which was overflowing with many local favorites.  This weekend ending party hosted by our Jamaican “polo family” will be hard to top when they visit Aiken, May 22 – May 24, 2009.
