Two trees pulled ahead by two goals in start of third 5-3, but Polo Do countered with field by Dorignac and Penalty by guille to tie 5-5 at half; Two trees pulled ahead by 2 again with martin v scoring field goal and penalties in fourth, but michel put a penalty 4 and a penalty 2 through to tie it again at end of fourth; start of fifth had carlos a scoring a field goal putting polo do ahead for first time all game, but facu castagnola put a pen 2 through to tie it back; Carlos countered with another field goal (9-8polo do) followed by adolfo converting pen 2 to tie 9-9 at end of fifth. michel with a pen 2 put polo do ahead 10-9 at start of sixth, then adolfo with a field goal 10-10; adolfo converted pen 2 to pull ahead for the first time since fourth chukker. Michel dorignac lined up a penalty 2, took any easy swing – and watched in agony as the ball rolled straight towards goal – hit a divot – pop up in the air and roll just wide to the right. Polo do got a second attempt with a penalty 4 and michel hit it high and through to tie the game 11 – 11. With roughly 18 seconds left and a tied score, adolfo scored a field goal to pull ahead 12-11 over polo do.

White Birch defeated Black Watch 14-13.
2-2, 5-4, 7-5, 10-6, 11-11, 14-13.

Facundo Pieres scored all 12 goals for Black Watch (3 penalties, 9 field) – received 1 goal handicap to start.

White Birch dominated the majority of the game pulling ahead in the third to end 7-5. The fourth chukker was owned by Martin Donovan of white birch with 3 field goals to one field goal by Facundo, putting white birch ahead 10-6 at the end of fourth. Facundo Pieres was on fire in the fifth – Chris Nevins scored a field goal putting white birch ahead 11-7, and Facundo scored the next five goals (penalty 2, then two field, then a penalty 2) bringing BlackWatch back in the game tied 11-11 to end the fifth. Donovan converted a pen 2, followed by Facu on a field goal (tied 12-12), Peter Brant shot a lofted field goal from 15 yards out – that caused a whistle and much controversy – but was determined a goal after discussion between goal judge and umpires – putting White Birch ahead 13-12. Donovan scored an additional field goal with roughly a minute left giving WB a 2 goal lead. Facu would not give up and scored a final field goal with 45 seconds on clock (14-13to WB) . The ball was thrown back in with just under 30 seconds, Facu found the ball took off but White Birch’s always strong defense slowed him down and the clock ran out, leaving White Birch the victories.

Finals will be Saturday September 1st at 4pm.
