As the thunder of hooves is not heard other than several arenas around Ca. the big green fields are looking for rest on the coast and just starting to get ready in the Desert but despite a very weak year for local Polo it seems to have survived so maybe 2011 will be a Great year . Rumor is Santa Barbara is talking Soccer must not have any communication with San Diego on what a horible idea that is it saved SD but it has been a very tough sport for the fields and would destroy SB . So hope that is local gossip . Polo is going strong in the South though and their are a whole bunch of Locals spending Haloween in BA. Scott Woods and his ERG team is playing in Gold Cup with Santi Torres and Paco who were all here in Summer Big Ben Solemoni and his Mansour team with old man Mariano Gonzalez are also in this, Ruki Bailleu often seen here is also in ac tion and Mini Mac has a whole team of Zavaletas all been here as young Julian Mannix Juan (Negro) Zavaleta and Clemente Jr fill out his team Alegria so lots of fun in the South where Summer not winter is on its way 13 teams in Elestina Gold Cup a little better than last year so maybe things are improving just very hard to see in these parts.
