Most eyes of Polo are on the results if not their of the 2010 it will be the 117 th Argentine Open at Palermo in Buenos Aires and it should be a barn burner. As A.C. the best of the best is trying to win his 6th open of the decade and his 9th of his career . He has changed his team with Mariano Aguirre joining Fred Mannix of Canada on his Alegria team of qualifiers .
The main competition will come from the same place it has been coming from for the last few years the Ellerstina squad of young guns who have 1 win in this World Class event and several L’s all passed on by Adolfo and his La Dolphina squad . La Dolphina is no longer the oldest team in the open that title goes to Indios Chapo 2 at 154 yrs. Of Polo if MM is only 30 which I doubt.. The young guns are still the young guns as Ellerstina is still 108 years of Polo and they have been to the finals 3 times and won once and are the only team with a chance to win the Triple Crown they average 7 years younger than La Dolphina a little less than last year when they could not stop the MAN but they did stop AC from winning ever tournament he played in for a year , which I would say was a miracle as AC did not score a goal in that game which was a finals and I assume he was not blindfolded but not sure . If going to Buenos Aires the weather has been very nice they say and lots of Polo everywhere as you can play ever day of the week or watch it .
Fred Mannix gets his Alegria team started Sunday best of luck to him. May they all have a safe dry tournament .
