Zone B played today the 114º Hurlingham Open Mercedes- Benz Cup. La Ellerstina beat La Alegria Park Hyatt 21-9. Facundo Pieres and Pablo Mc Donough were the two players who socred more goals, they each made six goals.
Pablo Mc Donough said at the end of the game, “It was good to make so many goals this first game. I hope we can keep growing as a team. The change of positions is giving good results. Now we are thinking of the next games”.
Indios Chapalefu II played La Aguada and started with a lot of strength, at the end of the fourth chukker they were winning 12-5. At that point the Novillo Astrada´s team started to improve its level with better horses, but Chapalefu knew how to handle the situation and won 16-14. Eduardo Heguy and Javier Novillo Astrada, one of each team, scored eight goals each.
Eduardo Heguy said at the end of the game, ” the change of position made its tribute. I think we started playing with a very good level and the horses responded very well. It´s natural that we look at the clock and they come to us harder, but it was good that we could manage it and still win the game.”

The 114° Hurlingham Open Mercedes-Benz Cup will continue next Wednesday, October 31st, and Thursday November 1st, corresponding to the third and fourth dates of the tournament. The matches will be between Santa Maria de Lobos- Chapa I, El Paraiso- La Dolfina and Indios Chapalefu II- La Alegria Park Hyatt and Ellerstina- La Aguada.
