Adolfo Cambiaso took 3 chukkers to prove the Triple Crown is not done yet. Cambiaso and Mariano Aguerre pulverized Chapa Uno in a very sound beating. They played explosive and very deliberate polo in an effort to get ready for the big final. Some educated Polo spectators said they were not as sure about a walkover for Ellerstina after todays game. They said it was dominanted by La Dolfina from 10 seconds until the end of the game. We know Cambiaso’s record in the finals. It is very good to say the least. Little Mac (Frederick Mannix, Jr.) and AlegrÃa finished their run today and had to be happy with the results. They were consistent in the fact that on the handicap they were always there and only lost once on the handicap. Not bad for a band of Gringos trying to be in the big one. They will get better.
Coming West next summer might be tough. Santa Barbara is nearly full for the high-goal and San Diego home of the 2008 Triple Crown is short only 2 teams. So if you want to be on the Gold Coast your time is limited. Get your teams in now!
See ya.
