Indio, CA (December 11, 2007) – Led by George Gilstrap with four goals, Jackson Hole Horse Emporium defeated World Gym by a score of 7 – 6 in the final of the 2007 Go Honey Tournament, played at Rancho Polo.

The tack salesmen led by two goals after each of the first three periods and seemed to be well on the way to the victory.  However, World Gym, displaying the fitness that befits the name, were quick to get even in the fourth and tied the score at six with three minutes and change to go. It looked as though the weightlifters would go ahead on several occasions but inexperience and bad luck kept the score even until the MVP, Gilstrap, fired the winner from 40 yards with just over a minute to go.

For Jackson Hole, Gilstrap, comfortable on the front end, led the scoring with four goals and Manny Rodriquez  supplied three (2 fouls).

The replies for World Gym came from Tony and Patrick Uritz (substituting for Pepe Alcala) with two each and singles from Pierre Henri and Angel Romero.

A mare owned by Pierre Henri was chosen as the Best Playing Pony.
