ALIANA POLO CLUB BREAKS GROUND IN FORT BEND
–World-class polo club and complex will feature two professional fields and event facilities on 50+ acres–
HOUSTON (March 3, 2008) – Aliana Polo LLC announces the groundbreaking of Aliana Polo Club to be located on more than 50 acres in the heart of the Aliana community in Fort Bend County, TX.

The club will feature two professional polo fields. The championship field will be one of the few polo fields in the world specially designed to accommodate night time play with unique lighting and lower elevation for optimal viewing. Club authorities will host seasonal, national and international polo events at the luxury complex to include a planned clubhouse, stadium, and other sport and event amenities.
To address exponential growth of the Houston polo community, eight sport enthusiasts and business leaders began working with Aliana to develop new world-class facilities to meet the increasing demand.

Phase one of the Aliana Polo Club will include the development of top-notch fields, watering systems, box seats, tenting and field-side seating expected to host its first match in spring of 2009.
