Saratoga Springs, NY, July 17, 2011—SARATOGA POLO CELEBRATES EXCELLENCE IN ITALY

Saratoga Polo continued its world class season with two hotly contested matches on Sunday afternoon. In the consolation match, Bloomfield Farm emerged victorious by a score of 13-9.
Leading the scoring for Bloomfield Farms was Cuko Escapite with 10 goals. Christof London had 5 goals for Black Creek Farms.
Saratoga Polo had a capacity crowd at 530pm as the Saratoga Performing Arts Center teamed with Saratoga Polo for the Saratoga Wine and Food Festival “Made in Italy” Excellence Cup.
Newcomers to Saratoga Polo, Brookland Farms, proved they are going to be a factor throughout the season as they bettered Buckleigh Farms 9-6. Leading the scoring for Brookland was Vincent Melke with six goals. For Buckleigh, it was Ignacio Soenz with six goals.
Play continues on Tuesday for the finals, and the  International Tournament  racks up more matches next Friday and Sunday to conclude the world class Tournament. Don’t forget that The Veuve Clicquot Women’s Challenge comes up in two weeks…so move over boys!
